AsiaWheeling Geoblog
Until now, every post it seems, has come from your humble corespondent Mr. Woodruff Schneider. Now, in an old British colonial house in the old Indian capital of Calcutta, your perhaps less humble correspondent Mr. Scott Norton emerges from a flurry of longitude, latitude, photoshop filters, and web scripting languages.
All the while wheeling and taking photos, I carry a small GPS datalogger that tracks our movement. I then process the data using various tools (1 2 3) and serve it to you, our most devoted readers, for enjoyment.
How can you benefit? Two ways:
- Point your browser to our maps page, to see up to date progress on our itinerary and photos that we’ve taken. http://asiawheeling.com/maps/
- Download an automatically updating Google Earth file that contains our Blog Posts, Photos, GPS recorded routes, and planned itinerary. You’ll need Google Earth for this. Once you’ve opened the file, you can save it to your places, and every time you open Google Earth, you’ll see our fresh content. View the File: Follow_AsiaWheeling.kml
Happy following!
